Rachel Cushman, PA-C

Rachel Cushman has always had a passion for working directly with people. She has a background working with children in a daycare and with the elderly in an assisted living community. Her passion for women's health was discovered during her clinical rotations in graduate school. She loves the patient education aspect that allows her to empower women with knowledge about their bodies, health and family planning.
She is an Iowa native. She grew up in a rural community, the middle child in a family of eight! She moved to Arizona in 2010 before beginning her education at Mesa Community College later finishing at Arizona State University with a degree in Human Nutrition before attending Northern Arizona University for her degree in Physician Assistant studies. She lives in Phoenix with her husband, who is an internal medicine resident at Banner University, and 9month old son Avery. Her passion for women's health only grew after the experience of having her son.
When not at work Rachel loves enjoying time with her husband and son, getting outdoors as much as possible, hiking, cooking, reading and drawing. She also loves photography, coffee, and a good podcast!
Rachel sees patients at our Ahwatukee Office.
