Southwest Contemporary Women’s Care is again welcoming the holiday season by participating in the Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel program. Staff members, providers, patients, and vendors can participate in any of three events:
- Christmas Angels – Select a tag from the tree for an underprivileged child at one of our locations. Register at the desk then purchase and return the unwrapped gift to the front desk by the end of the day on December 15th.
- Forgotten Angels – Purchase a new toy for a child 12 and under, then return the unwrapped gift to the front desk by 11:00 am on December 8.
- Silver Bells – Select a tag from the tree for a senior at one of our locations. Drop off an unwrapped gift to the front desk before December 8 at 11:00 am.
The gifts are then collected, wrapped, and distributed by the Salvation Army to be placed under their Christmas tree.
If you prefer, consider making an online donation at Salvation Army Christmas Angel. Santa’s helpers will use your contribution to buy age-appropriate gifts for this year’s Angels.
These programs make it possible for children and seniors who might not otherwise receive a gift or experience the joy of the season to open something that is meaningful to them. All participating children and seniors come from our community.
