Brittany Schulte is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in Phoenix, Arizona after graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. She worked as a registered nurse in the hospital setting, specializing primarily in obstetrics and gynecology in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Arizona. She lived in the interior of Alaska for fifteen years, before returning to the Phoenix area. She most recently worked in the Antepartum department at Banner Desert. Her doctoral study project “Initiating Breastfeeding Education During Perinatal Medication Assisted Recovery” helped to include the inclusion of a lactation visit to patients beginning medication-assisted recovery at Banner Desert. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership, but ultimately decided to return to Arizona State University for a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Women’s Health.

Brittany enjoys developing and building relationships with her patients and empowering them in their healthcare goals. Brittany joined the Southwest Contemporary Women’s Care family in January 2021.

On the personal side, Brittany is a wife and mother to four busy children, three sons, and a daughter. Her family also includes a sweet spoiled Havanese and three sweet but sassy tuxedo rescue cats. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys baking, hiking, reading, and yoga.
