After spending her childhood in a small northern Wisconsin town, Emily attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in both biology and nursing. She then moved to Phoenix, where she started her nursing career in behavioral health, adult medicine, and obstetrics before earning her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University.

Emily developed an interest in women’s health at a young age, and her excitement grew in adulthood. She spent several years working on a busy labor and delivery unit in the Valley, where she gained valuable experience in gynecology, pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and postpartum care. Her passion for women’s health has been nurtured through her career as a nurse, and she feels immense joy from her work as a certified nurse-midwife. Emily notes that she strives to empower women and their families to have the labor and birth experience that they desire, while making safe decisions together in the process. As a caregiver, she hopes to bring comfort, empathy, and positivity into the lives of every patient.

While her upbringing gave her a strong love for family and the outdoors, her free time is now spent relaxing at the pool with a good book, cooking for loved ones, hiking in the sunshine with her dog, Rosie, and exploring the different hidden gems around the Valley.
