Michelle graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree and a minor in Family and Human Development. She worked as a registered nurse for 6 years, focusing on labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecology, and gynecologic oncology surgery. During that time, she also worked at a free-standing birthing center and graduated with honors from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Michelle began her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife at a busy hospital in San Jose, CA. She then returned to the Phoenix metro area, where she worked as a CNM focusing on inpatient care. With a commitment to providing safe, evidence-based midwifery care through shared decision-making with her patients, Michelle believes in listening to and empowering women and their families to ensure a supported birthing experience.
