Dr. Russell earned his medical degree at the St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed his OB/GYN residency at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, MI.
He enjoys working with both obstetrics and gynecology patients, is committed to volunteer service, and speaks conversational Spanish. Dr. Russell’s professional passions include minimally invasive – including robotic – surgery and high and low-risk pregnancies. He joined Southwest Contemporary Women’s Care in September 2023.
When he’s not working, Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and dog – and of course good friends. He loves exercise in all forms, including hiking and outdoor sports. He has a weakness for dessert – especially anything with ice cream. When you combine all of the above into an outing, it is his perfect day.
