Laser Hair Removal

Our technicians eliminate unwanted hair on the face and body with these laser treatments. We can treat any area of your face or body, and a wide range of skin tones. The most common areas for treatment for women are the upper lip, chin, bikini area, arms, legs, and underarms.

What to Expect with Laser Hair Removal

The laser emits short pulses of intense light to eliminate the hair follicle. The technician can adjust the intensity of the laser treatment during the procedure to suit your comfort. The treated hairs shed over two to three weeks, and the body naturally reabsorbs any ingrown hairs. The laser can be used on all skin types. To minimize the number of treatments needed, avoid a fresh suntan and self-tanners before treatment. Very mild redness or swelling may occur but usually disappears within an hour. Most patients require an average of 8 treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Skin Rejuvenation with Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is known as the “lunchtime laser facial” because it is a quick, relaxing treatment with no downtime. The therapy is safe for any skin type. It improves fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, redness, rosacea and scars. It also stimulates collagen regrowth, leaving skin tighter, and smoother. Many clients choose this treatment the day before a special event because you experience an immediate glow afterward.

What to Expect with Laser Genesis

You can expect a warm sensation during the treatment and may experience a slight reddening, like a very mild sunburn, which usually subsides within a few hours. You can resume normal activities and work immediately afterward. Each patient’s condition and needs vary, but four to six treatments scheduled four weeks apart are usually recommended to achieve optimal results.

Skin Tightening with Titan® Laser

Titan is a skin tightening and rejuvenation therapy with no downtime that firms the skin, leaving fewer lines and folds. Most patients can see an immediate tightening of the skin following treatment; however, the new collagen development continues to occur deep in the skin for three to six months following treatment. The most common treatment areas are the eyelid (brow lift), lower face and jawline, neck, and abdomen. Any area of the body with loose skin respond well to the treatment.

What to Expect with Titan Laser

Our laser technicians use modern techniques which maximize your comfort. Light emitted from the laser causes a warming sensation which lasts several seconds during application. Afterward, you may experience a slight reddening or minor swelling in the treatment area which typically dissipates in a few hours. One to three treatments scheduled four weeks apart is recommended for the most significant results.

IPL/Photofacial with LimeLight® Laser

This intense pulsed light-based treatment is a quick way, with no downtime, to treat both dark spots and mottling of the skin caused by sun damage and aging. As an added benefit, LimeLight addresses skin redness and small veins (telangiectasia). The process creates a refreshed, brighter look and youthful, more even color. Our technicians customize the treatment to suit your individual skin concerns and can target problem areas. Most patients seek treatment of the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

What to Expect with LimeLight Laser

The treatment is usually performed in about one hour with little to no irritation. Patients may experience a quick, mild pinching or stinging sensation at the treatment site, which is cooled by the laser handpiece. After treatment, a slight reddening, and very mild swelling may occur and persist for several hours, and brown spots may appear darker. Makeup can be applied to conceal the redness and brown spots if desired. Within one to three weeks, the darkened spots flake off as the skin undergoes its natural renewal process. Redness and tiny veins subside, and the overall complexion of the area is improved.

2D Skin Rejuvenation™

For our patients with multiple concerns, we combine Laser Genesis and LimeLight for maximum results with minimum time and cost. The treatments can be combined in one visit.

3D Skin Rejuvenation™

The 3D Skin Rejuvenation combination treatment delivers all the advantages of Titan, Laser Genesis, and LimeLight for maximum results with minimum time and cost. Our aesthetician may recommend that these treatments be spaced over two visits, two to four weeks apart.

Laser Vein Therapy with CoolGlide®

Laser vein therapy can be used to treat superficial spider veins of the legs and face, as well as certain deeper veins in the legs, with no downtime. Cherry angiomas, port wine stains, blood blisters, and other vascular lesions can often be treated quickly and effectively. Knot-like varicose veins may need treatment by a vein specialist. Our laser technicians can assess whether you are a good candidate for laser vein therapy in a short consultation.

What to Expect with CoolGlide

Most patients describe the feeling as a rubber band snap or stinging during the laser pulse which quickly subsides from the cooling tip of the laser. The technician can adjust the laser to suit the specific vein type, thus keeping discomfort to a minimum while still maintaining the effectiveness of the treatment. There may be slight reddening or puffiness around the treatment area. This generally disappears within a few hours, but there may be some soreness in the area that lasts one or two days. Some bruising may occur. The number of treatments required and time for results varies depending on the size, color, and location of the vessels being treated. Small spider veins often disappear during the treatment, while larger, deeper veins tend to take more treatments. On average, most patients require two or more treatments, and results are usually visible within two to six weeks.

Skin Renewal with Pearl Laser

The Pearl Laser treatment is a mild to moderately ablative therapy that removes the superficial, damaged surface layer of the skin, revealing beautiful new skin. Dark and light sunspots are diminished, and fine lines are smoothed out. The Pearl Laser treatment stimulates new collagen growth in the deeper layers of the skin, which continues for several weeks after the treatment. This treatment gives you a dramatically improved, fresh, vibrant look in as little as three to four days. It is less invasive, more comfortable and requires fewer treatments than fractional therapies, yet it still provides a comparable result. The entire face is typically treated. The chest, hands, and other parts of the body can be treated also.

What to Expect with Pearl Laser

The Pearl Laser treatment has been described as feeling like a series of pinches as the technician moves across the skin. During the treatment, a very fine layer of skin is removed, and your body forms a natural layer over the area. Immediately after the treatment, the skin is pink or red, similar to a sunburn. Aquaphor® is applied in the office and at home to keep the skin moist. After about three or four days, this natural layer sheds and reveals the new, healthy skin underneath. Although you can continue with normal daily activities after this treatment, it is important to stay out of the sun. Most choose to schedule the Pearl Laser treatment a week before important social events.
